In England, a growing movement is pushing back against the fences that divide people from nature. Through bold mass trespasses, Right to Roam activists demand greater access to the countryside — but in doing so, they collide head-on with landowners who insist they are the true guardians of the land.
Our Land explores this clash with nuance and clarity. Weaving together past and present, it lays out the deep-rooted tensions between public access, private ownership and environmental stewardship. Voices from both sides are given space to speak: campaigners fighting for freedom to roam, and landowners defending their vision of protection and responsibility. As the struggle over who gets to enjoy — and care for — the natural world grows ever more urgent, the film poses a fundamental question: who does the land really belong to?
